Flyer One Exhibition

A small exhibition of Flyer One concept has been held at Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, last 2009 february. The original explanatory panels from this exhibition can be downloaded from the Spanish version (Spanish text) of this web.

Flyer One is a new concept in research and development of solar houses, specially focused in finding new architectural form for new the technologies of renewable energy. Its name pays homage to Burt Rutan’s figure and aircraft industry approach to science and research. Working with scale models is a key feature of this concept as a technique borrowed from aircraft research methods.
